Voting Info
Not sure if you’re aware…but there’s apparently a pretty big election taking place next week 😉 We won’t touch a political subject with a 10 foot pole here at the buzz, but we will happily inform you of HOW and WHERE and WHEN you can cast your votes. Click here for full info for the last few days of early voting (till Thursday, October 31st) and then November 5th, election day.
Ravens Hollow Last Chance
Have you been to the walk-thru haunted house at Circle P Ranch? Not yet? Well you’re in luck! Tonight, Tuesday, October 29th and Wednesday, October 30th, the scare will begin 30 minutes earlier at 6:30PM for all those that need to sneak this treat in BEFORE bedtime. More info can be found here.
New Trailhead Added
Thanks to the Mt Juliet Parks and Recreation, we have a new trailhead added to the Cedar Creek Trail, coming from the Park Glen Subdivision. If this weather isn’t perfect for a fall walk, then I don’t know what is!
Openings and Closings
Honey Baked Ham officially opened yesterday in Robinson Crossing at 1400 N Mt Juliet Rd. Keep them in mind for any holiday feast needs. And while we keep hearing of new restaurants opening, it’s with sadness that we hear of so many local shops closing lately. It wasn’t long ago that Sassy Daisy announced it’s final days in the Town Square Plaza, and on October 28th the announcement was made that TenThirtyFive, in the same plaza, will be closing after this weekend. There are still two other locations in Donelson you can frequent.

They are a local non-profit dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected farm animals. All donations are tax deductible and will go directly to the animals. Pumpkins will be fed to the pigs and the straw will help keep everyone warm in the winter.

🐝MJ Real Estate Update
Depending on who you talk to, you might hear very different stories about the current real estate market here in Mt. Juliet. Some believe we are starting to see a downward trend, especially since some homes are sitting on the market longer and selling for less than their list price. Additionally, many sellers are offering concessions to entice buyers during this stretch of higher interest rates.
On the flip side, many measurable statistics in the market show that we are up compared to last year. This past month, we've seen increases in average sales prices and the number of closings. What people might not realize is that out of the 90 three-bedroom homes that closed last month in Mt. Juliet, about 30 of them were new construction—homes that no one have lived in before. This accounts for around 33% of all sales in the past month and is significantly influencing the rising average price in our area. It's essential to remember that part of the reason for the lack of inventory is the long pause in building. Now, with new construction back in action, it's playing a crucial role in shaping our market dynamics.
If you have any questions about the real estate market here in Mt. Juliet or anywhere else in Middle TN, feel free to reach out. I'd love the opportunity to earn your business!
