The Emeraude Bakery

In case you scratched your head on how to pronunce it - it’s emmy-rod. Moving on… The man that brought us Leons Famous Deli will now be bringing his basement bakery to a brick and mortar here in MJ. Don’t you just love local stories like this? Hunter Briley has been known for his bread baking skills for some time now, but the city helped share it the news of the upcoming new location on Lebanon Rd (where the old gun range building now sits). Should be expected to open within the next few months. Catch the video here.

Airport Ramp

Some of you may be aware of the ramp change… but just in case you’re one of the lucky ones not battling I-40 W traffic lately, you may not be aware of a new off ramp for the airport exit. This helpful image we found shows in red where the ramp USED to be, and the green arrows show where the ramp is NOW. No one wants to miss a ramp when driving to the airport. Here’s hoping you don’t next time ;)

On September 18th, the Federal Reserve will reveal its decision on a potential rate cut, which has been highly anticipated by many, especially those involved in the real estate market. While this is great news for buyers, it's essential to note that most lenders have already priced in these expected cuts. Contrary to popular belief, mortgage rates may not drop immediately after the announcement. However, if the cut is more significant than projected, we could see a continued steady decline in rates. Either way, the trend is moving in favor of buyers, with more activity expected as rates ease.
