Does your business show up correctly on Google?

Jump to Google right now and search for your own business name. If a box pops up on the right with your hours, address, and phone number — that's your Google Business Profile, and it's one of the biggest ways locals find you.

Keep it updated on a regular basis by double-checking:
- Your address and phone number are correct
- Your hours are up to date
- New reviews have been responded to

If you're unsure if you have a Google Business profile, I'm happy to help point you in the right direction!

Fall Plans, Anyone?

Some things need a little more than a week’s notice — especially once the fall calendar starts filling up! So we went ahead and rounded up the fall festivals, markets, Oktoberfests and family events we know about in and around Mt Juliet.

Home Rule Meetings Coming Up

The City of Mt. Juliet is hosting several informational meetings about the upcoming referendum to repeal Home Rule. And if none of those words make any sense to you either… then make plans to join us and hear directly from City Commissioners and staff, learn more about the issue and ask questions.

Upcoming meetings — all at 6:30 PM:
Sept. 21 — Mt. Juliet High
Sept. 22 — Providence Church
Oct. 6 — West Wilson Middle
Oct. 8 — Green Hill High
Oct. 13 — Mt. Juliet Middle

Walk 4 PICS 5K

Here’s a local 5K with a pretty special mission. The first-ever Walk 4 PICS 5K is happening Saturday, September 26 at 8 AM at Charlie Daniels Park, raising awareness for Post-Intensive Care Syndrome and supporting ICU survivors and their families. Runners and walkers are both welcome, and registration is $30 through September 25.

Pickles for Pups is Back!

The 4th Annual Pickles for Pups Pickleball Tournament is happening Saturday, October 3 at Charlie Daniels Park. All skill levels are welcome, with men’s, women’s and mixed doubles, plus food trucks, prizes and a silent auction — all benefiting Mt. Juliet Animal Care & Control.

🐝Business Spotlight

Know someone always asking "should we cruise it or not?"

You might know Kat Morga — owner of Adventure Smarter, a travel agency right here in Mt. Juliet, who's built her whole thing on making sure people get trips done right. Tomorrow she's flying to Greece to test something she gets asked about constantly: is cruising the Greek islands worth it, or is island-hopping the better move?

Drop your email here and she'll send you the details — the ship, the real-time updates from the water, and her honest verdict when she's home.

She's doing the whole thing in public — no sponsored fluff, just what's actually better and who each way is really right for. If a Greece trip is anywhere on your radar (or your someday list), this is the one to follow.

Pet of the Week 🐾 Bases Loaded

Bases Loaded is back — and we’d REALLY love to help this sweet girl find her forever home! ❤️ She’s a 5-year-old Terrier mix, loves people (especially kiddos!) and is happiest right by your side. She’s looking for a home where she can be the one and only furry queen — no other dogs or cats needed when you have this much personality. 😂

She’s currently the shelter’s longest resident, so let’s help change that! 🐾

🐝MJ Weekly Poll

Last week’s poll:
If you could bring ONE thing to Mt. Juliet tomorrow, what are you picking?

More family activities (bowling, skating, etc)

🐝MJ Real Estate

It’s no secret that Mt. Juliet is growing — and growing fast. But here’s a number that may surprise you: of the 400+ homes currently for sale in Mt. Juliet, roughly 40% are new construction.

For buyers, that creates opportunity. Builders are competing for your business, and many are offering incentives — but not all incentives are created equal. One builder may offer money toward closing costs or a rate buydown, while another may offer flex cash for upgrades or be more willing to negotiate on price.

The key is knowing what’s being offered, where the money is coming from, and which incentive actually provides the most value for you.

If you’re considering new construction in or around Mt. Juliet, give me a shout. I stay on top of the local communities and current builder incentives and would love to help you understand your options.
