Local Teacher Turns Diagnosis Into a Mission of Hope
Mt. Juliet teacher Desiree Gilbert is turning her cancer journey into something beautiful. She’s launched Cancer’s Closet—a free resource filled with items like seat belt cushions, wigs, port shirts, and more for anyone going through cancer. She’s also creating care packages to remind others they’re not alone.

Inventory is still up compared to this time last year, and the average sales price has dipped slightly from 2024. Homes are sitting on the market a bit longer, but we’re still holding steady at around 3 months of inventory.
