Election Day is Thursday, August 6, but if you’d rather skip the lines, early voting runs July 17–August 1.

Mt. Juliet residents can vote early at the Mt. Juliet Community Center (1075 Charlie Daniels Pkwy), Monday–Friday from 8 AM–6 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM–1 PM. Don’t forget to bring a valid Tennessee or federally issued photo ID.

📚 Business Spotlight: The Open Shelf

If you’ve been following The Open Shelf, you know this has been a true labor of love for Mt. Juliet resident Megan, whose dream is to bring an independent bookstore to our community.

While she’s continuing to work toward opening her permanent location, (read more about that here) you can now shop The Open Shelf Tuesday–Saturday from 10 AM–5 PM through the end of July inside the Village Forager space at 2320 N. Mt. Juliet Rd.

If you’ve never checked it out, don’t miss her popular “Blind Date with a Book” bundles—beautifully wrapped mystery books complete with fun bookish surprises. It’s such a unique gift (or a fun treat for yourself!) and also comes available for kids!

She’s also hosting Bad Shelf, a fantasy-themed book fair this Sunday, July 19, at East Nashville Beer Works in Lebanon from 11 AM–3 PM, featuring authors, vendors, and plenty of fellow book lovers.
