Imagine1 Project at Pleasant Grove Road

Have you seen the construction on Pleasant Grove Rd behind Academy and At Home? They are beginning phase one of a two part project that will bring another residential community similar to Vintage Station North by the train tracks - Vintage Pleasant Grove. Phase two - Village at Pleasant Grove- will include have an emphasis on walkability, outdoor and community space including an entertainment retail attraction. The city has approved both and we’re pumped to see development with an emphasis on being a gathering space for all of MJ!

MJ Man Stuck in Space Coming HOME

We finally have a return date for our MJ native, Butch Wilmore, who has been in space since June 2024. What was only supposed to be a week long visit…turned in to 8 months of being stuck due to technical issues. NASA has now scheduled their return to Earth on March 19th. Staycation Spring Break

Not heading out of town for spring break? No worries - here’s a short list of some fun staycation ideas to help you make the most of your time right here in and around MJ…and a sneak peak of some upcoming events… (March 9th - 16th)

Planning a staycation in and around Mt. Juliet from March 9-16? Here are some local activities to consider:

1. Hop on the Music City Star from our MJ Station for an afternoon adventure downtown! Got little kids with you? Once you land at the Riverfront Station, grab some treats from Mike’s Ice Cream and Coffee Shop. Just make sure you are back at the train station for your return!

3. Hike at Long Hunter State Park: Discover scenic trails suitable for all ages and skill levels.

4. Attend the Hibbett Hall Train & History Museum at Charlie Daniels Park: On March 8, explore Mt. Juliet’s history through exhibits and model train displays. 

5. Enjoy a Movie at Stardust Drive-In Theatre: Catch a double feature under the stars at this nearby drive-in.

7. Horseback Riding at The Stables at Cedars of Lebanon: Experience guided horseback rides through scenic trails.

Walk Across Wilson is a community-wide initiative encouraging residents to get active by walking 36 miles—the equivalent of walking across Wilson County!
