Mt Juliet Parks and Rec Public Meeting

Another meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, February 27th from 6PM - 7PM at the Charlie Daniels Community Center to discuss the plans for the new Recreation and Aquatic Center with the Research and Development Committee. The Mt Juliet Chamber of Commerce Leading Women’s Luncheon brought out speaker, Beth Torres with the Make-A-Wish chapter of Middle Tennessee. They are dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses—not just those who are terminally ill, but also kids and their families that are facing serious, life-altering medical conditions.

You can help bring hope and joy to these children and their families by volunteering your time or spreading the word. If you know a child who could benefit from a wish, make sure they’re referred to Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. 🐝MJ Animal Shelter Pet of the Week

This sweet boy, Rock, has been melting hearts since he arrived as a stray on November 1, 2024. He’s a gentle soul who adores kids and people but prefers to be the only animal in the spotlight. Sadly, during a routine check-up, two bullets were found lodged in his chin—an unthinkable hardship for such a loving dog. Rock is scheduled for surgery on February 28th, and he needs our community’s support to help cover his medical expenses and find a foster home where he can recover in peace.
