With Mt Juliet’s rapidly growing population, we have to make room for new families by adding more schools to accommodate. You’re invited to the groundbreaking ceremony at 14045 Central Pike at 2PM Tuesday, December 3rd (TODAY) for the latest Wilson County School - Central Pike Elementary.

A special event is being hosted at the Wilson County Board of Education on Thursday, December 5th at 6PM. This educational presentation is brought to you by Homeland Security Investigations to inform families about the risks that children face in the online environment. Nurture the Next works with families to support parents in creating loving homes that make their children feel nurtured. They know that when families connect with other families they feel less stress, have more people in their lives to turn to in hard times, and as a result, build a more nurturing life for their children. Twice a year, they bring families together all over the state to encourage one another and enjoy a unique experience with their children. This December, they are celebrating our Wilson County families by coming together for a day of holiday fun!  ❄️⛄💙

They are in need of volunteers to help with this event on Friday, December 6, from 2:30 - 5:30 PM. Families will be in attendance from 3-5 PM. Volunteers will help with various activities for families including the following: 

1. Serve food to families.

2. Help us with craft stations including cookie decorating, face painting, and helping our program graduates decorate their caps. 

3. Setting up and cleaning up the event space
