🐝Business Spotlight

It’s that time of year where gyms become a little extra crowded with new year’s resolutioners and we all start thinking about how we can course correct on the errors we’ve made, and hold ourselves accountable to our new goals. But what if we treated our wallets and bank accounts (that more than likely took a beating over the holidays) the same way?

Hello! My name is Nathan Haas, I am a long time mt juliet buzz subscriber and a Financial Coach right here in Lebanon, TN. I take a realistic approach (no eating only rice and beans here) to helping people take the stress out of their finances, take control of their money, and finally start enjoying life.

One thing I have learned from my time as a Financial Coach is that MORE money doesn’t mean LESS financial problems. I work with people who make $30,000 a year and some who make over $200,000 a year, but they still have the same exact struggles. So no matter what position you’re currently in, I can assure you there is hope!

My 3 biggest tips for improving your finances are:

  1. Create a realistic financial plan & budget

  2. Automate as much as possible

  3. Balance your credit card (pay it every single time you use it)

And similar to any fitness goals you may have, the hardest part is starting! So to help you here is a FREE copy of my Blueprint to Financial Freedom template: FREE BPFF – Haas Trade. I use this for all of my clients to help them build a solid foundation for achieving financial freedom.

If you would like to learn more about how financial coaching may benefit you, use the following link to schedule your FREE educational session with me here: Select a Date & Time - Calendly or check out my website here: Financial Coaching – Haas Trade. I hope you all have a very blessed 2025 and best of luck in ALL of your New Year’s resolutions!

🐝Poll Results

Last week’s poll asked how would you like to see our community grow in the new year?

More local restaurants won!

But here were some interesting replies…

"Trader Joes. More healthy options."

"Things for families to do…like escape rooms, bowling alley, skating, arcade. It’s all restaurants and retail for entertainment. We would love to support MJ with these businesses. Currently, we go to surrounding areas to find these activities."

"Things for teens to do. Arcade, bowling, skate center, some activities to keep them entertained and out of trouble."

"No more housing... More focus on our schools like it used to be."

"Actual completion of the new community center."

"Widening South Mt Juliet Rd and widening Lebanon Rd towards Lebanon."

🐝MJ Weekly Poll

Now we're curious - would you rather go downtown for a live concert that has NO cover charge? Or stay local in mj and pay a cover charge?

🐝MJ Real Estate Update

New year, new market? Only time will tell! As of right now, Mt Juliet is still sitting below 3 months of inventory, which is far from the 5-6 months we need for a more balanced market. Homes are still selling near their listing price, a sign of a strong market, but it's important to note that many sellers are offering concessions towards buyers' closing costs. The median sales price in Mt Juliet continues to rise, largely driven by the new construction market. While things are still holding steady, we'll be keeping an eye on how the market shifts throughout the year.

If you have any questions about the real estate market here in Mt Juliet or anywhere else in Middle TN, feel free to reach out. I'd love the opportunity to earn your business!
