Clean Up Help is Coming🌳
If the ice storm left a mess in your yard, here’s a helpful heads-up: Mt. Juliet offers a chipper pickup service for storm debris, and it’s expected to restart next week. Crews move through the city by zone (starting back at Zone 2), and timing depends on how much there is to collect. Just note—you need to be inside city limits, and there are a few simple rules on what can be picked up. We’ve linked everything you need below, including the zone map and a weekly email update so you know when they’re getting close to you.

From Our Friends at Volunteer Network:
If you were impacted by the winter storm and need help with downed trees, debris removal, tarping, or muck out, support is available through Crisis Cleanup. Call (844) 965-1386 for assistance. Services are free, but not guaranteed, and are provided by volunteer teams. Patience is appreciated! This hotline cannot assist with social services such as food, clothing, shelter, insurance, or FEMA registration.

$20,000 “Welcome Home” Grant — Planning Ahead Matters 🏡
If buying a home is even remotely on your radar this year, I want to make sure this is on your radar too.
The Welcome Home Grant is back and offering $20,000 toward a home purchase, but there’s a catch — submissions open April 6, and last year they only accepted applications for one day before cutting it off.
A few important details:
You must be under contract with a complete application to submit
Income limits (Wilson County):
• $110,208 for 1–2 person households
• $128,576 for 3+ person householdsClosings should be 45+ days after April 6 (approval timing is out of our control)
This works especially well for new construction or homes closing later, as long as you’re under contract before April 6
If this sounds like something you might qualify for — or you’re curious if it could work for your situation — I’m happy to walk you through it and help you plan ahead.
👉 Click here to share a little info, and I’ll reach out to see if this is a fit and what next steps would look like.
