New Activity Center

On Friday, January 24th the Mt Juliet Parks and Rec unveiled a new activity center in the building that used to be the daycare right before you reach the park’s Farmer’s Market Pavilion. While the space is not currently available to reserve, it should be up and running within the next few months. Keep an eye on their social media, and we’ll be sure to share here as well. Check out our latest video here to get a sneak peak.

-In & Out Burger will be gracing our part of the state in Lebanon on the corner of South Hartman Dr and Franklin Rd. Read the full story here.

-We’re super bummed to hear about Vanilla Moose’s closing on Hamilton Ave. Their last day is Feb 28th, but please keep them in mind for any events you have that could use a coffee trailer. The buzz can confirm their Vanilla Moose Latte is worth the trip there. Please support them any way yall can.

-Last update is not a closing, but also not currently opened. Leon’s Famous Deli posted Sunday that “they are not saying goodbye, just see you soon.” We hope to report here soon with what’s coming for Leon’s and their delicious sammies. Check out this video to see what you’ve missed out here.

Another week, and rates remain steady with no major movement in either direction. While there's some uncertainty about the near-term Fed rate outlook ahead of Wednesday's meeting, the local market in Mt Juliet continues to face its own challenges. Affordable home options remain scarce, with fewer than 25 properties currently available under $400K—and only 8 of those under $350K. A boost in spring inventory would be a welcome sight for many buyers in our area.
