With the extreme cold and unexpected disruptions this week, today’s buzz is a little quieter and focused on sharing helpful local resources and ways to support one another. If you or someone you know is still without power and needing shelter assistance, please contact the Communications Center at 615-754-2550 with the Mt Juliet Police Department. Make sure we’re checking on our friends, families and neighbors that might need extra care as the temperatures continue to drop.

Volunteer Network TN is coordinating local support for Wilson County warming centers during the extreme cold.

Current needs include:
-Volunteers to help staff warming centers
-Food teams to provide and serve prepared meals
-General support roles for guests seeking warmth and care
