Jersey Oven Update

This authentic northern breakfast and lunch spot, located in the Paddocks on Pleasant Grove Rd (sandwiched between Lowes and Walmart), is about to get a bigger imprint in MJ. Game Stop, their next door neighbor, is closing at the end of this month, and Jersey Oven will be expanding into their location. What will this expansion bring? Additional seating, additional drink options, and plenty more surprises! Check out this video we shared on Monday! We’ll report back when the remodel will be complete - in the meantime they will continue their operations as normal.

New Mental Health Resource for Local Youth

Embrace U Adolescent Mental Health just opened their Mt Juliet location at 5000 Crossings Circle in the Providence West Medical Center (behind Buffalo Wild Wings). Their clinic offers our community effective, short-term, out-patient mental health programs for children and teens, ages 10 - 18. The buzz approves this kind of resource helping the children of MJ (insert big heart here)

🐝Volunteer Opportunity

Wilson County CASA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect, ensuring they have a safe, nurturing, and permanent home. Their compassionate volunteers work closely with children, families, and court professionals to represent each child’s best interests throughout their time in the court system. Since July 2024, they’ve served 175 children and are seeking 10 new volunteers by July 2025 to meet growing case assignments.

To address the rising number of children being raised by grandparents due to parental addiction, they’re partnering with Leadership Wilson and Foster 180 to host a Grandfamily Resource Fair on March 8th at The Journey Church in Lebanon. New construction in Mt Juliet continues to play a significant role in maintaining the average sales price, keeping it steady compared to last year. According to a recent report from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), 30% of builders nationally lowered prices in January, with an average price reduction of 5%, consistent with trends over the past six months. Additionally, sales incentives were offered in 61% of transactions. While these stats reflect national trends, here in Mt Juliet, there are currently over 115 new construction homes on the market with an average of 29 days on the market.
