St Patrick’s Day Fun

Grab your greatest green gear - and let’s go celebrate! Here’s a few suggestions for how and where to enjoy:

• St. Patrick’s Karaoke Party at Kat’s Bar & Grille – Friday, March 14th, 6PM. Kats is throwing a St. Paddy’s party with DJ Sally hosting karaoke night. Come decked in green and be ready to sing your favorite tunes.

• East Nashville St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Saturday, March 15th, 9:45AM. Nashville’s official St. Patrick’s parade returns to the Five Points area of East Nashville. Expect traditional Celtic music, Irish dancers, and floats parading down Woodland Street. The event is free and family-friendly, with a Kids’ Zone and plenty of merriment for all ages.

• St. Patrick’s Day Party at East Nashville Beer Works (Wilson County) – Saturday, March 15th, 12PM–8PM.  Co-hosted by the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club and local Irish dancers, this fest will have green beer, Irish dance performances, hurling demonstrations, live music, and even an “Irish Breakfast” pizza on the menu. Admission is free – don’t forget to wear green for a chance at prizes!

• Leprechaun Treasure Hunt at Nido Play Space - Monday, March 17th - 11:30AM - 1PM. This exciting, ticketed event will include a mischievous leprechaun with hidden treasures, Bluey and lots of St Patrick’s Day adventures for your favorite littles in your life!

• Live Music at McNamara’s Irish Pub – Monday, March 17th - 10AM–11PM. For an authentic pub experience, head to McNamara’s Irish Pub in Donelson. Nashville’s beloved Irish pub will have live Irish music and likely some Irish dancing all day long on St. Paddy’s Day.

• St. Patrick’s Day Gala at the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon – Thursday, March 20th - 6PM.  Everyone’s Wilson is hosting this community fundraiser gala and will feature Irish-themed decor and entertainment in a more upscale setting. Tickets or advance registration are required (proceeds benefit Wilson County initiatives). It’s a great excuse to dress up, support a cause, and extend the St. Patrick’s revelry a bit longer in Wilson County.

Exciting news for local families—Huntington Learning Center is now open in Mt. Juliet, offering top-notch tutoring and test prep for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. As a Middle States accredited organization, they provide personalized instruction to help students excel in school, ace the ACT/SAT, and prepare for military or GED exams. They even offer specialized ADHD instructional strategies to support different learning needs.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville – Wilson County needs volunteers anytime between now and March 29th at their ReStore to help keep the sales floor and warehouse organized. Volunteers will assist customers with loading and unloading items, work alongside ReStore staff, and help create a safe and welcoming shopping environment.

Looking at the February numbers here in Mt. Juliet, the market is shifting, but home prices are still on the rise. Months of supply is up 45% (4.26 months) compared to February 2024, and active inventory has also increased by 45% (250 homes). Despite this, the average sales price continues to climb—up nearly 10% from last year. More inventory means more options for buyers, but demand is still keeping prices strong!
